2-1 desk tidy: ideation

On the other lesson, I considered about desk tidy design and looking for some images. Some of them are come from my head, dre and I got some ideas from internet.

# 1 (design)
I choose this design because I can change pillars and size whenever I want to replace my stuffs. 'cause I easily change my mind. If I making my desk tidy based on this design I should extend the size about to fit in 200m x 200m square. also the size of the circle as well as my stuffs can fit in.

# 2 (design)

I choose this design because I like the structure of phone holder and also it contains flower like design and the pencil case!! An I might need to add some more spaces for other stuffs and extend size.

# 3 (design)
This design is come from my head. It should looks like a giraffe with some holes on it's neck which is needed for pencil and pens and stuffs. And on it have drawers on it's body and the ground where giraffe standing. One is for electric devices and one other can be used for other stuffs that might fit in to, or something small that I easily lost.

# 4 (design)
This design is according to loaf. I got some mistakes on my drawing. Firstly, I got pencilcase long way. it is meant to be opposite side with bookshelve. Because I have make a big hole about 17cm x 10cm but then I cna't get a enough space for pencilcase. However, whichever pencilcase or bookselve is in opposite, it seems to be okay. This desk tidy contains stick note space, 2 extra storage (which can be use instead of drawers) and bookselve (also can be used to place the wooden cat)

# 5 (design)- bamboo desk tidy
I like this design becaue it has drawers and selves for books and pencilcases.
# 6 (planning 1)
I thought about what ym desk tidy should be use and what stuffs it might contains. Also what things I needs desk tidy for. In conclusion, I got phone, wooden cat, electric device drawer, extra drawer and pencil case. These are all I want to have for my desk my desk tidy :)!
(+size of phone and wooden cat)
# 7 (planning 2)

: Reason how his lighting work’s following through 1960s to modern days is because of the techniques and designs are make Claude Engle’s work interesting. Therefore his design is able to catch up through two century and being used for many buildings.

d) A quote of theirs that has something to say about lighting.
1. “I have been amazingly fortunate to have stumbled into the right scene at the right time,” Claude R. Engle III told those attending his February presentation given at the historic Great Hall of New York’s Cooper Union. “There was a time that it was a special thing when someone who believed that light would be integral to the project sought you out,” he said.

2. “When I arrived in New York, there were four lighting consultants: Richard Kelly, Abe Fader, Bill Richardson, and Seymour Evans. The lighting design profession grew out of theatrical lighting. Architects were always in control of the natural lighting.

3. Engle was introduced to the audience as “having been there from the beginning, leading to some of the most extraordinary buildings in the world in which light is one of the most important factors.”

DF assignment question: LED light

Q1. What is the actual difference between light of different colors?
: The frequency of the EM was determines the amount of energy it contains. Therefore, different colors of light have different frequencies and amount of energy.

Q2. Define the following lighting terms:
- Ambient light diffuser: The soft indirect hat fills the volume of a room with illumination.
+ diffuser: A screen for softening lighting (as in photography)
- Luminosity: A measurement of brightness
- Energy diffuser:
- Watts: A nit for measuring electrical power

Q3. Comment on Global Warming
: Human activity is very likely the cause for the rapid increase in global average temperatures over the past several decades. We live in era of climate change. Every individual has the ability to help ensure the health of our environment and awareness and education is the first step to prevent the global warming.

Q4. How can the modern home become more energy efficient with regard to lighting?
: Lighting design is providing light that is both functional and decorative. For purely functional spaces the rule is: the more light the better. This is an easy formula that works well for factories, but for a home we want to make people feel something, like being welcomed, a sense of security and well-being. We want to punctuate the space with interest and drama.
